The Georgia Sting Basketball Organization has a full compliment of talent this year. We anticipate another exciting year. We currently have a diverse high powered volunteer coaching staff, fully committed to providing the girls a competitive environment and mentorship to last a lifetime. The players, who's ages range from 11U-17U are continuously challenged on and off the court to put their best foot forward in everything required of them. We are always looking for new talent to add to our existing players to replace those who are considered graduates of the Sting program. If you are interested, please give us a call or send us a short message by clicking on one of the links below. |

| Sting History | Sting Commitment | |||
| The Georgia Sting Organization has provided Columbia County, Richmond, and surrounding counties young girls, interested in playing basketball, an opportunity to compete at the highest level in Georgia and South Carolina areas over the past 10 years. In 2001, amid rumors that the talent in Columbia county could not compete at a higher level, sparked the beginning of the Georgia Sting. With just a few girls to fill a team and two parent coaches, the Sting set out to shock the CSRA. As time passed, The Sting has grown from just one team to over 7 and over twenty coaches. | The Georgia Sting Organization is committed to providing a quality program integrated with community and volunteer events. We are committed to encouraging the players to pursue a top level education. We understand that basketball can be a vehicle that can assist a player to achieve collegiate goals, but we know it takes a quality education to sustain any career. The commitment of charter is one of the first stages of success as we encourage commitment in all we do and all we ask of players, parents, and coaches alike. | |||
